These are a family favorite on Christmas morning. Many family memories have been made as we have gathered together in our matching pjs, enjoying these gooey cinnamon rolls, celebrating Christ’s birth, and exchanging presents under the tree. Warning. These are so yummy that I usually double the recipe. This will make about 12 rolls. I’ve served this many times on Christmas morning with my breakfast casserole (that I also prepare on Christmas Eve) and a fruit salad for a more complete breakfast that allows you to be more present and involved, cherishing celebrating the true meaning of Christmas with family.
Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! Psalm 95:6
When the dough has risen to double, sprinkle a clean counter top with flour and roll the dough out into a rectangle shape. Mine is usually of an elongated oval. Oh Come, All Ye Faithful
1 O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant,
O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem!
Come, and behold Him, born the King of angels!Refrain: O come, let us adore Him;
O come, let us adore Him;
O come, let us adore Him, Christ, the Lord!2 God of God, Light of Light,
lo, He abhors not the virgin's womb;
very God, begotten not created; [Refrain]
3 Sing, choirs of angels; sing in exultation;
sing, all ye citizens of heav'n above!
Glory to God, all glory in the highest![Refrain]
4 Yea, Lord, we greet Thee, born this happy morning;
Jesus, to Thee be all glory giv'n!
Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing!
